Kurt Taves is the Chief Operating Officer for Cherry Bekaert, appointed to his role in 2022. He is responsible for overseeing the operations of Cherry Bekaert Advisory LLC, where he plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and strategic growth. Kurt also serves on the Executive Management Team and the Executive Board, ensuring that the Firm consistently delivers top-notch services to its clients. With over 30 years of experience in operational leadership within the professional services industry, he previously served as COO of Cherry Bekaert LLP from 2018 and as Managing Partner of Tax.
Kurt oversees the Firm's daily operations, including business transformation, finance, people and culture, information technology, Global Support Services, and service lines, ensuring seamless functionality across all departments. He is also actively involved in corporate development and acquisitions review, guiding strategic Firm initiatives. Kurt's commitment to innovation and collaboration has been instrumental in advancing Cherry Bekaert's mission to provide exceptional advisory and accounting solutions.
