Cherry Bekaert (the Firm) is realigning the Firm’s Growth practice following a comprehensive review of its growth and efficiency objectives as part of an ongoing ReimagineX strategy. Since announcing Parthenon Capital’s strategic investment, the Firm has remained committed to expanding digitally driven, industry-aligned solutions; improving the experience of and providing greater opportunities for talent; and expanding the Firm’s reach through accelerated organic growth and a curated M&A strategy.

The Firm has further invested in new talent to make transformational differences and is pleased to welcome two new leaders rounding out the Growth practice’s leadership structure–the Enterprise Growth Leader and the Growth Solutions Leader.
Roy Nicholson joins the Firm as the Enterprise Growth Leader. He brings more than 25 years of management consulting and software company leadership experience and has been focused on supporting his clients and firms through Digital Transformations. Nicholson joins Cherry Bekaert from a global big six accounting firm, where he served as a National Managing Principal of Digital Transformation.
In his new role with the Firm, Nicholson will help position Cherry Bekaert as a preferred partner for large-scale clients while identifying new opportunities within this market segment. In addition, Nicholson will also serve as the Firm’s Strategy & Transformation Leader where he will work to bring integrated end-to-end solutions by incorporating strategy, digital transformation, and embedding innovative technologies to help businesses optimize their operations and achieve long-term success.
Melissa Quinn joins as the Growth Solutions Leader. In this role, Quinn will build and lead the Firm’s capability to integrate and evolve service offerings. She brings more than 25 years of experience in professional services where she specialized in account building, human-centered experience design, innovation methodology and capability-building, new offering and practice-building, and change management for business transformation.
Prior to Cherry Bekaert, Quinn was a partner of Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm, and COO of Doblin, Deloitte’s global innovation practice. After leaving Deloitte, she built and led the innovation leadership training practice at Third Factor, one of Canada’s premier training and development organizations. Most recently, she led large-scale client transformation efforts as Managing Director of Business Transformation at Edelman.
